The contact in Seattle is Bec Kemp at email@hidden
The tournament has at least 18 teams at A and AA level of play (B or C
for the US). It is a great time.

Hope to see you there..

Hi all,

I am a little slow in answering this.

Nov issue of Hockey Player magazine has a really good article player
types. It covered the physical and mental characterisics of each
type of player.

I started coaching a roller hocky team with my daughter being the
only girl. She's 13 and is bigger than most grown women.
She's not a good skater and not very fast. However, I put her in the
role of a stay at home defensemen / goalie's helper.

Now after a couple of games, several blocked shots, broken
break-aways, and goalie saves she is have more fun that she thought
possible.

Hope this helps,

Jay Provost

Subject: Oregon womens hockey?

Hi,

A member of a team I help coach is moving to Oregon. I would like to help
her find information about any opportunities for womens hockey. So if you
know of any teams or league contacts, please let me know.

Thanks
Tom Scanlon
