I thought they weren't allowed to check. I was watching NHL and Don Cherry was talking about Canada's win. They showed some clips, and there was lots of checking. I don't have a problem with checking at all, because I played with boys from 4-13. No body checking is already a rule for women's hockey = and it is international. What you saw in the World Championships, was a = referee allowing contact.
