Hi everyone:

The Illinois Storm is the premier senior women's hockey team in Illinois.
Our team is comprised of a majority of the best senior players in our state
and includes some teenage players as well. On average skaters have at least
6 years experience playing hockey. In our first year we qualified to
compete at the 1997 USA Hockey National Championship and finished with a .500
record, tieing for 5th place among the 10 team Senior B division. Our
primary goal is a National Championship in the near future. While the team
certainly has it's share of fun, the Storm is a serious hockey format as
opposed to a recreational or club atmosphere. Our team is dedicated to
individual and collective development as well as promoting women/girls hockey
in Illinois and nationwide.

If you are a skilled senior (or teen) player moving to or living in the
Chicago area and are interested in skating with the Storm, the team will be
holding it's season tryouts at Johnny's Icehouse (training facility for the
Chicago Blackhawks) on Sept. 2, 6, 9, and 13. Please call coach Dave Logan
at 708-957-5693 or captain Lisa Olsen at 630-736-8154 for more information.

Hope to hear from you soon.

The FLASH is a new women's ice hockey team being formed in the Chicago
area.

Currently we have a core of dedicated skaters and a very dedicated coach.
We have room for more skaters. If you have at least one year of hockey
experience, are at least 16 years old, are female, and looking to play on a
women's team we would like to hear from you.

Most of our practices have been at Icelandia in Niles. However, we do not
rule out skating at other rinks. We have been practicing about once a
month over the spring and summer but expect to increase our ice time as
fall approaches.

For more information, contact me at email@hidden.

Hi. I am interested in Women's Hockey. I am planning a roller hockey rink
in NYC and would be interested in any info you could offer that could help
me set-up a women's league (roller). Whatever you could do would be greatly
appreciated.
