How is that possible? No offsides once the puck goes out? Doesn't seem
possible. Are you sure? How will the kids know what off sides is?

no girls allowed crap?????? Isn't that against the law? I went to so called
'boys' camps, yeah i was the only girl, but i was still allowed to play. You
should check up on that.

Rich,

After all the discussion that has gone one here, and after watching my
daughter Jena (11 year old) learn the proper way to check, I no longer have
any fears of her playing with the Pee Wee's. I think she'll do fine, if
she plays with other kids who have been taught to play and check correctly.
I guess in the end, that is what is most important. I guess my only fears
now, is that kids who come to play, won't know the proper way to check and
will charge and hurt someone.

Seems to me that this is a very negative way to coach. Maybe this coach
NEEDED to find a different approach. My daughter Jena takes clinics each
week from 2 different coaches. Neither use this put down method to teach
the kids, and I have to tell you these kids are incredible.

I've tried on the Louisville shoulder pads too and I loved the hard shell in
the chest area that would protect me much better than what I currently
wear... BUT they have this funny design thing that I think makes them WORSE
than what I have. The chest plate has this tab (for lack of a better word)
that extends to wrap around down under the armpit. When I strapped myself in
and moved around a bit, the tab slipped out from under the elastic strap and
stuck out in an awkward and uncomfortable way. If that happened during a game
it would be a problem. Maybe it's the way I'm built, I don't know. But
anyway, I didn't buy them.
