I cannot comment on the Center Ice High Performance Program as I think
they bring in a special head instructor for that program.

I have heard from various players who have attended Center Ice's regular
camps and they have told me that the instruction is mediocre at best.
I've also heard indirectly of several players having really bad
experiences at the camps, but I won't get into that.  Your mileage may
vary, but this is what I have been hearing at my end.

I have also heard that there is a much better camp in British Columbia.
run by Shannon Miller (Head Coach of Team Canada) and several players from
Team Canada:  Danielle Dube, Hayley Wickenheiser and Judy Diduck.  I have
heard nothing but good things about this camp.  It is supposed to be a
really fun experience for the girls, and obviously offers top-notch
instruction.

If you want more info about the camp, e-mail me and I'll see if I can dig
up the brochure.  I think the information might be on Andria Hunter's web
site as well.  I believe the camp is slated for the third week of August
in Richmond, so it can also act as a good conditioning camp/preparation
for the regular season.

My brother just graduated from there, and played four years.  I know a few of
the girls on the women's team as well...  We have tried to play them, but it is
a long way to go (I play for Michigan State!)  What do you need to know?
