If any of you are having trouble with the last message, which had
an attachment, you must use software like MUNPACK (Mime Unpack)
to detach the word document and read it.
See those of you going in Las Vegas this weekend. We will post
the results on Monday (if I make it into work 8-)!)

Will TSN show it live or do us all a big favour (NOT!!) and show a tape
delay version?

to which I received a number of replies accurately correcting my
oversight in that she is CURRENTLY playing with the Reno Renegades. I
hereby apologize for this oversight...I guess all the effort I've put
into updating the Sacramento River Rats website recently has given
me "roller hockey on the brain" and I overlooked the fact that these
players are wintering with their ice hockey counterparts.

I must apologize! I guess I made a major mistake! I just found out that
you are not suppose to post stuff that BIG. I have been told that I've
"seriously screwed over a big number of list subscribers with this." I am
very sorry and it was truly unintentional!
I have been told by the List Mom:
For stuff like this, it is suppose "to be put on a web site or FTP site and
a pointer posted. Lots of users can't handle enclosures, can't handle Word
files, and all this is is a HUGE, wasted download across their modem."
Again, I am sorry if I have caused anyone grief. It will not happen again.
With deepest sincerity,

Zoe,
At least I have a T-3 line and all the software necessary to
unpack and read your message. I found it very interesting and
printed it out for my daughter.
Your intentions were good, just the execution was
shortsighted. Mistakes happens to all of us.
This does bring up one gripe I have on the list. Many of you
respond to messages and include the entire post. Sometimes this
is a multipart thread, where only a short comment is added.
Please be considerate of others and cut the original message down
to a portion that will convey the essence of the message and
respond to that.
I receive my mail at work, and they frown on too much personal
mail clogging the lines. Many of the women-in-hockey digests
that I get exceed 20k, much of this being repeat of previous
posts. Be considerate of all of us and give the modems a break,
and don't be overly lengthy if it is not necessary.
Thanks
Peggy
