There was an article in yesterday's Minneapolis Star-Tribune that talked
about Winny Brodt. Brodt is a hockey player from the Minneapolis area
who recently signed a scholarship to play at UNH, but has been declared
academically ineligible by the NCAA. The problem has to do with a
half-credit English class that the NCAA does not feel meets the core
English requirement. More information can be found from the
Minneapolis Star-Tribune web page (http://www.startribune.com/), or by
following the links in the "recent additions" section of my main women's
hockey index web page (http://www.cs.utoronto.ca/~andria/Index.html).
