hi,

Just curious as to teams that are going to Brampton. I guess that's
a silly question as their information says that they're expecting
302 teams this year. We're playing in Senior DDD. Not sure how
we got that lucky :) but I have a feeling that we're a bit out of our
league. Oh well, it'll be fun anyways. We're playing a team from
Baltimore. Would that be Chesapeake Bay Lightning? (That's the only
team I have listed from Maryland).

There are 3 pools in Sr DDD, 12 teams. I wonder how many are in the other
divisions. This tournament has to be a nightmare to arrange (speaking
from the Team Michigan Friendship Tournament with 50/60 teams). Luckily
they have lots of rinks in that area.

Good luck to all the teams that are going.

Don't forget to check out the list of US women's teams/leagues. If your
team doesn't have any infomation on the page, please let me know. I'm
also looking for contact people for the teams, or at least the rink, city,
etc for your team... MN has so many teams that the league information
is there and that's great too. (of course, MN has the most teams too)

Chesapeake Bay Lightning Hockey Club has two teams competing in Brampton
this year. One team is in the D so I would imagine that is who you are
playing (Mary Wood, the club manager and goalie-extraordinaire, can
correct me!). The other team is playing in the senior rec division.

see you there?

Hi! My team is also going to Brampton, Iron Maidens. We're playing in
Senior Rec which I believe is lower than Senior DDD (that's how it was
last year at any rate!!) From what I remember there was Senior A, Senior
B, Senior C, Senior D, Senior DD, Senior DDD, and Senior Rec. If you get
a chance catch a senior A game, Incredable!! There are a number of teams
from my league going, besides Team Michigan (Rhonda, how did you guys get
in DDD and the POLAR BEARS get in Senior Rec?!? We're playing them on
Friday...I just hope they arn't too rough on us!!!) Ice Pack, Arctic
Storm, and the Polar Bears are going. There may be one or two more that
I'm missing...So GO Metro Skaters Hockey League!! We've got a great
representation going!!!

hey! we are in the same pool!

so, I have to ask, in reference to one of the other teams in our
pool ...just what do you mean "aren't too rough on us"?!?!!!

at the very least tire them out for us, will ya??

We play Barrie Friday night. I used to live in Barrie but the only women
I would know playing hockey would not be playing senior rec - at least I
hope not!!
