FORWARDED MESSAGE from William Cumming Deerfield Academy (WCUMMING @ SMTP

There are many prep schools in the northeast with girls' teams and the
regular season is over. There is a championship at the end of the year and
it began yesterday with the following results:
Kimball-Union Academy 10 Buckingham-Brown & Nichols School 1
Cushing Academy 3 Lawrence Academy 1
Taft School 5 Deerfield Academy 3
Tabor Academy 4 Choate-Rosemary Hall 1
The semi-finals are at 2:00 and 4:00 on Saturday, March 2 at the Taft
School in Watertown, CT and the Final game will be Sunday at 1:00 also at
Taft.
Taft will play Cushing and KUA will have Tabor.
At noon on Saturday the Division 2 final will be held, but I do not know
who it will feature.
Many of this year's seniors will be off to the collge ranks next year and
the level of play is quite high. The girls who play at these schools come
from all over the US and Canada and we tend to be ignored by USA Hockey
since we are not members. A look at any ECAC roster is testament to the
level of play.
I will post the results as the games are completed.
Cheers, Bill

***** NOTES from HARRIS, zharris (zharris @ PACINST) at 2/29/96 4:15 PM
Bill-
I found your information on northeast prep schools very interesting. Do you
know the contact names (coaches' names) and numbers for these schools and
others? I know might know of some players who would be interested in going
to a prep school in order to get better exposure for a chance to play in
college. Any information you have would be helpful. Thanks in advanced!

Hello all!!
If anyone on the list is interested in purchasing collectibles on Manon
please send E mail to me for a complete listing. I have authentic pro weight
jersey's with her name and number for the following teams: Atlanta Knights
-home {auto'd}, Knoxville Cherokees -home, Las Vegas Thunder- home, and New
Jersey Rockin Rollers -home. Also have many older Classic issue cards and a
few odd type items remaining.
Also want to ask if anyone on the list would happen to have any game programs
or media guides for Team Canada's National Women's Teams, 1990, 92, or 94,
that they would like to part with. ( I'm still trying Andria!!! :-) )
Thanks,
Ken - email@hidden
