Yes this is the company that put on the tournament last year that we
attended. It was a good tournament to attend and a great place to do other
things besides.

To save further, consider 4 to a room, you can also try cheaper
accommodations in Vegas. Look into a package where your airfare and room is
included, those are usually the best deal.

Last year the Tournament was held at the Santa Fe Hotel and Casino. This
hotel is considerably off the strip and no where near the downtown either.
It is pretty much off by itself, but it only takes about 15 minutes to drive
to the strip and the other casinos. Also this seems to be the only hotel in
Las Vegas without a pool. We had thought that at least a Jacuzzi would have
been nice after some of the games, but at least they have ice! Also they
have a bowling alley on the premise. Please don't take any of this as
negative though. The hotel was well run, the staff was very helpful. The
casino dealers were very friendly and the prices for food there were very
reasonable.

The tournament was well organized except that some of the games were played
either in the wee hours of the night or very early in the morning. Gave you
an excuse to stay up an gamble 8-).

I know of no other women's league in Las Vegas or any other tournaments
there. If you look at the actual cost of the hotel at $199 for three nights
and for three games (I believe the price includes your entry costs) is only
$70 per night (including game).

I hope to see you all there next year. Any other questions that I might be
able to answer, just ask.

Peggy
