I received the following message this AM. I know this isn't hockey
related but I figured I'd pass this along anyway. Nobody likes facing the
loss of their hard drive.

Hope its helpful

Elmer

I received the following information today, and thought I would pass it on,
as I know a lot of you use PKZip.

Joe,
Please let anyone and everyone know that the most
current **legitimate** version is PKZIP 2.04g and DO NOT, UNDER ANY
CIRCUMSTANCES download anything advertising itself as PKZIP 3.0.

I hope this helps some,

Jeff

Don't post things like this. This isn't a computer list -- we don't
talk about hockey on the MS-DOS lists, do we?

And 90% of the time, these things turn out to be hoaxes, anyway. Stuff
like this should NEVER be posted to any list wihtout the approval of
the list admins, and never without verifying the posting as legitimate
first (which is why the Admin has to be checked first).

And never on things like hockey lists. Leave them on lists where these
things are appropriate.
