Hello women's hockey fans!
I just wanted to let the word out that I am presently co-writing a book on
women's hockey with Elizabeth Etue that will be published in Canada by Second
Story Press in October 1996. The book will focus primarily on the recent
developments in the game (since 1987) in Canada and internationally and will
offer an interesting look at what it means to be a woman and play hockey. It
will also feature some of the stars of the Canadian national team such as Angela
James, France St. Louis, Stacey Wilson and Hayley Wickenheiser.
We are hoping to include in the book photos from the World tournaments. If
anyone has some good shots of these events, could you please let me know? Also
if you have any information (that is not already on the Net) about hockey in
other countries I'd appreciate hearing about it.
