I've finally got this stuff done!

I've rewritten the introductory material and created a new WWW home page
for the mailing list. The new intro (which you should see in a separate
message) is a lot cleaner and easier to read (at least, I hope)! I've set
things up so that new members will get it when they subscribe, and for it
to be posted twice a month, not only here, but to rec.sport.hockey so that
people will be able to find out the list exists.

Also, I've finally got the first cut of a WWW home page up. It's not very
big (yet -- I need help tracking down the information. hint hint), but it
works.

Dear Lou,

Thanks a lot for your note. That was really nice and inspiring.

That's great! Thanks for letting me know. I'm really glad to hear that
people can use the information. Actually it wasn't until just this past
week that I implemented a counter to keep track of how many times my
web pages get accessed. Over that past week, on average there have been
40 different computer sites (may be more than one person at each site)
who visit my pages each day. That's encouraging! I'm really happy to
think that I'm helping to promote women's hockey, because I'd like to
see some other young girls get some of the opportunites that I have had,
but if they don't even hear of women's hockey, then it's pretty well
impossible!

Now that's a arm-twisting offer ... I can never turn down a game of
hockey! :-) Even now, I just have to think about playing and I get
this intense serge of excitement (it's really hard to describe)
in my stomach (I guess it feels like butterflies in the stomach).
I don't think I'll every out-grow that!

If you have a list of the teams which are in CA, I'd like to add
it to my homepage. I have a web page dedicated to club hockey in the US.

>P.S. I like the goalie in the .sig

Based on the responses that I have received so far, it doesn't look
like I'll be pulling the goalie! :-)

Best of luck and thanks again for your note. Take care,

Andria
