It's great to see some volume (besides mine! :-)) on this
mailing list! Yeah! :-)

I think it sounds like a great idea! If you do make such a list, I would
like to add this information to my women's hockey web pages. I have some
information on women's hockey (non-university) in Ontario, but nothing at
all on women's hockey in the US and in the rest of Canada.
Even if I we just provide the phone number of the Girls/Women's
Section Representative for each district, that would be a good
starting point for young girls/women who are interested in
taking up hockey. I can provide the numbers for the OWHA and
the CHA (and I'm sure Louise can too) if anyone is interested
in putting such a list together.
In my web pages, I have information about women's hockey in
Switzerland, Sweden, and Great Britain so far. If anyone can
provide me with information on women's hockey in any other
countries outside of North America besides these ones, I'd be
very grateful.

Chuq, I was just curious ... how many people are currently
subscribed to the women-in-hockey mailing list? Do you have
that information available?
And, finally ... my women's hockey web pages:
If you haven't looked at my web pages recently ... check them out,
as I have added a lot of information recently. From my main
homepage, you'll probably want to take a look at the following
sections:
Women's Hockey Information
(getting info on the net, general info)
Women's University Hockey
(Canadian and American University Hockey)
Women's International Hockey
(World Tournaments, Leagues in various countries)
Women Hockey Player Profiles
(pictures/stats for selected players)
My homepage can be accessed using these URLs (the first one will
always be up to date, but if it doesn't work for you, try the 2nd one):
http://www.cs.utoronto.ca/~andria
http://www.cdf.utoronto.ca/cgi-bin/hpp?andria.html
Or you may get the files by anonymous ftp:
(get the README file to find out which files are available)
ftp://cs.utoronto.ca/pub/issac/test/
If you make a web page for your team, let me know, and I'll
add a link to it from one of my women's hockey pages.

P.S. From an OWHA (Ontario Women's Hockey Association) bumper
sticker that I have ....
"Of course women play hockey too!"
